Last week, GBA Logistics proudly had the pleasure of attending a dynamic speed-networking event at Lostock Academy, where 150 young adults, aged 14 to 16, took part in meaningful conversations with representatives from various industries.

We shared our personal career journeys, the history of GBA Logistics, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in today’s ever-evolving job market.

It was a truly inspiring event that highlighted the value of connecting young talent with industry professionals.

It was so much of a success, we have also been invited back in 2025 to assist students with learning more on ‘how to prepare and undertake a perfect interview’.

This initiative aimed to bridge the gap between education and the workplace, allowing the students to gain valuable insights into different careers and the paths that lead to them.

The event was organised in an engaging format, with groups of approximately ten students rotating around the large dinner hall room to speak with different employers. It was a unique opportunity for them to learn about various roles, the skills required, and the benefits of pursuing specific careers.
